MES
Architecture
(MES
System Architectures)
General Info (MES Manufacturing
Execution System)
Worked Packages: Rockwell, Apriso, Siemens
(Simatic, Opcenter/Camstar), BYD, Werum, ...
Able to work on all MES: Functions Similar
on Man, Machine, Material, Method, Environment; Worldwide over 2000
developer teams with the above similar functions; Past project on e.g.
Lithium Battery, Advanced Material, Intelligent Equipment, Robotics
...
MES Manufacturing Execution System Experiences
(a) My clients covers
major industries, such as Companies E1, N1, B1, A1, and so on. (See
MES Progress
By Me!)
(b) General functions I
developed in my past projects, are showed in
General MES
(c) One of the USA's
primary contributors in this area is
Apriso, though it was now purchased by French company
Dassow.
(d) Another primary player in
US market is
Rockwell MES package. I have several clients who use Rockwell MES such as company C1, in other countries such as company S1.
(e) Siemens provided its
own solution to attack the weakness of MES. In combining its MES
package Camstar with PLM and MOM, so it presented its
Siemens' Opcenter! - This is similar to my primary contribution,
to fix MES' weaknesses!
(f) There are also
Werum MES and several other packages. As discussed before, Werum
manly focuses on Medical Industry.
(g) Others. Worldwide
there are over 2000 team in developing MES packages, most of them has
similar functionalities: they all handle the
similar data: Man, Machine, Material, Method, and Environment. So if
someone has worked for several packages, he has sufficient knowledge
to handle the rests.
Notes
(a) Primary weakness of
today's MES lies in its relative poor development in industry know-how
(logics). However, this is
technical strength of mine, since I am focusing on Industrial Models
development, and during Level 2 development, I also handling
Industrial Logics. See
MES Progress
By Me!
(b) I have integrated MES
(Level 3 System) with Basic Automation (Level 1 System),
Model-based Process Automation (Level 2 System), and ERP (Level 4
System).
